A Guide to Fabric Masks and Ear Loops
A mask holder is a handy accessory to have on hand for any cosplayer. Masks are needed when playing various roles. You have to have them for comic books, role-playing games, horror movies, cartoons, movies, the news, etc. Masks are usually worn by actors to give them a more realistic look while being on screen. There are many types of these holders to choose from.
Masks usually come in a plastic sleeve type with Velcro closures at the corners and on the inside of the mouth. These masks are normally attached to the ears with the help of elastic earplugs, hair ties, and a small elastic strip to keep them in place. Usually, mask holders are made of a comfortable soft polyester 1/2-inch Velcro cord making it very comfortable, durable, and convenient to wear for prolonged periods, whether you are at work, in school, or traveling.
They are available in two types: face mask holders and earring/necklaces holders. Face mask holders usually feature three different compartments for earrings, necklaces, and contacts. The three compartments of the face mask holder allow you to hang up to seven masks at once and store them on the wall or in a drawer or dresser for easy access. Some also come with interchangeable face masks and interchangeable necklaces.
Earring holders and necklace chains come in two styles: chain nose clip, which attaches to the top of the ear, and stainless-steel chain, which attaches to any metal surface. You can use these two different styles of mask accessories to add variety to your costume. If you are going to be wearing multi-colored masks, however, it is recommended that you purchase one clear chain and one black chain to attach the masks.
